Pricing is the first question most buyers ask and the last thing most bag companies want to answer. We’d rather be upfront. This guide breaks down the actual cost of custom wine bags by material, quantity, and printing method — so you can budget accurately before requesting a quote.
Price Ranges by Material
Every product in our catalog falls into one of five price tiers. These ranges cover the per-unit cost including one-color screen printing on one location.
$0.59–$3.00 — Non-woven wine bags
The most affordable tier. Includes the 1-Bottle Non-Woven Wine Bag, 2 Bottle Sundowner, 4 Bottle Great American Tote, and 6 Bottle Great American Tote. At scale (1,000+ units), per-unit costs drop toward the lower end of this range. Minimum 200 units.
$3.01–$7.00 — Insulated, cotton, and jute wine bags
The mid-range tier. Insulated wine totes with thermal lining, cotton canvas wine bags, and jute wine bags fall here. The Insulated 1-Bottle Tote, Insulated 4 Bottle Wine Tote, and 2 Bottle Heavyweight Cotton Canvas are in this range. Minimums vary from 100 (cotton) to 200 (insulated).
$7.01–$15.00 — Premium styles and specialty bags
Larger insulated bags, specialty wine carriers, and growler bags. The Insulated 6 Bottle Tote Bag and Insulated 2-Growler Bag typically fall in this range.
$15.01–$25.00 — Custom builds with premium features
Bags with custom dimensions, specialty handles, closures, pockets, or other features beyond standard stock options.
$25.00+ — Fully custom laminated wine bags
The Double Delight Laminated Bag and other laminated bags with full-color CMYK edge-to-edge printing. The per-unit cost is higher but includes photographic-quality printing on every panel. Minimum 2,500 units.
What Affects the Price
Within each tier, your exact price depends on four variables.
Quantity: The single biggest factor. More bags = lower per-unit cost. Price breaks typically occur at 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 units. Ordering just above a price break threshold can meaningfully reduce your per-unit cost.
Material: Non-woven is the cheapest. Cotton, insulated, and jute are mid-range. Laminated is the most expensive due to the full-color printing process and longer production cycle.
Bag size: Larger bags and higher bottle counts use more material and cost more per unit. A 6-bottle tote costs more than a single-bottle bag in the same material.
Print colors: One-color printing is included in all standard pricing. Each additional screen color adds a small per-unit charge for the extra screen setup and press pass. Full-color CMYK (laminated only) is a different pricing structure entirely.
