Product Description

The Recycled Denim Grocery Bag is a full-size grocery tote made from 6 oz. recycled cotton denim — actual denim fabric produced from pre-consumer waste generated during the textile mill cutting process. At 12″ W x 8″ D x 13″ H with 20″ handles, it’s a standard grocery bag format in a material no other bag in our catalog uses. The recycled denim manufacturing process diverts mill scraps from landfills and uses significantly less water than virgin cotton production. Screen printed with an 8″ W x 8″ H imprint area on front and/or back, up to 4 spot colors per side. Prop 65 compliant.

This is real denim — the same cotton twill weave used in jeans, jackets, and workwear — not a printed pattern on synthetic fabric. The material has the texture, weight, and hand feel of denim because it is denim, just sourced from recycled mill waste rather than new cotton. At 6 oz., the fabric is lighter than the 10-14 oz. denim used in jeans but heavier and more structured than the cotton canvas and non-woven polypropylene used in standard grocery totes. The result is a bag with genuine fabric character — it softens with use, develops a natural fade over time, and feels like a piece of clothing rather than a piece of promotional merchandise. The 8″ gusset provides deep, boxy interior volume for a full grocery load. The 20″ handles sit comfortably over the shoulder even when the bag is fully loaded.
